Photogenic Coasters

Expounding on a earlier theme, here are two photogenic coasters which look beautiful, but are not that great to ride....

Mean Streak http://www.coastergallery.com/CP/43.html

Rattler http://www.coastergallery.com/2001/FT18.html

Aren't you a little biased about the White Cyclone picture, Peabody?   (But you are correct -- it is a GREAT picture!)

-----------------

The SFMM promo shots of Viper's corkscrew from head-on and Revolutions's Loop sticking up out of the forest come to mind. Long distance shots of Millenium Force from scross the lake REALLY illustrate how insane the first drop is.

My other car is a Giovanola!
I didn't find Mean Streak to be rough when I rode it in August.

My biggest complaint with it was its uncreative layout.  No surprises to be found.  Perhaps I'm just used to Ghostrider....

But as for Photogenic Coasters, I would say Millenium Force.  When I saw it from across the lake for the first time, I was just shocked.  It doesn't matter how many pictures you have seen of it, being there and seeing it in person is a must.

I think that X is also pretty cool because of its unconventional drop off the lift, then into its vertical plunge.

Xcelerator-
0-82 in 2.3 seconds! =Wow!

Alpengiest, hands down, looks good, but IMO looks are decieving on this coaster.

There isn't a problem that can't be solved.
Suicide is NOT a solution!

I would have to say Windjammer, IMO it was a beautiful looking coaster but a horrid ride.  I also think Revolution is a wonderful lookign coaster with a fairly nice ride, http://rcdb.com/installationgallery130.htm?Picture=2 it doesn't get much better than that.

KBF Net - Coming Soon!
Top Gun @ PGA is photogenic in my opinion. :)

Very Graceful.

Skater for life!

For those of you that want to have an enjoyable ride on Mean Streak, sit up front, and lean forward. Don't let your back touch the seat backing because it sends the vibrations into your back. If you do that, you should be fine.

Oh, I think that The Beast is very photogenic, especially the second hill and helix.

Sept. 11th 2001, Slayer released God Hates Us All. The song "Disciple" uncannily describes the events of that day, as well as the antrax letters that followed.

Any angle of Millennium Force's lift hill is photogenic but I will agree on the view coming across the causeway. Quite impressive.

The classic CP Corkscrew has always been quite photogenic, with the corkscrews looping over the midway.

Batman Knight Flight should be included in this list. The view you get of it along the lakeshore from either the Wild Life side or even Looney Tunes Boomtown is great.
