Photo Spots on Roller Coasters

Does anyone know why the on ride photos are not in an inversion? I'm sure it could be achieved, at least on B&Ms, I'm not too sure about arrow loopers though. If anyone would like to share thier opinion that would be great!
SFoG's S:UF has it's camera at the bottom of the pretzel. There is no reason they cannot be placed wherever. I believe Maintainance is the real issue.

God bless Intamin, Company that I love. Stand beside her, and ride her, from the opening to the closing of the day.

It's probably a lot easier to just have the flash and camera closer to the ground, rather than up on 75' supports.

Plus think of this. Most on ride photos any more shoot all the way across the row. In most inversions the train is "curling up". Thus the tops of the seats are closer together while the bottoms (spots attached to track, unless its an invert). So this makes it much harder to shoot across the row. It would be more like a side shot of your face rather than an almost straight on view.

I didnt know SFOG had em on SUF cool i gotta get me a pic made but i think the on ride photo thing is way cool!
The quality of the ORP on SUF is kinda crapy. Compared to other ORP's I've bought. Really grainy.

It's not real grainy, just at a bad angle.

I don't think an inverted photo could be installed.

Sure they can. Raptor and Talon both have ORP's.

Yea but they only get the two riders closest to the camera. This is very true of Raptor, which kind of sucks.

That seems true with a lot of B&Ms... When I was at SFMM we weren't on screen for ORPs for Batman or Riddlers Revenge and both times we were further away from the camera.
