Philly??

I am going to be relocating to Philadelphia for a couple months and was wondering, what parks are fairly close. I know I'll still make trips back to Ohio for CP and PKI, but where can I go that will be close by. If I remember correctly, Dorney is close, but are there any other parks with great coasters around? Thanks for the info!!

Good decision to move to this area. Dorney is a little over an hour away. SFGadv is around the same distance, except in New Jersey. Hershey Park is around 2 hours, and Knoebels is around 2 hours.

Also Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster. Williams Grove about a half hour, 45 minutes from Hershey, SFA isn't to far either under 2 hours from Philly. knoebels is about 3 hours from Philly it's about an hour 15 minutes from Hershey.

Isn't Dorney fairly close as well?

To the south, probably on the order of 3 to 4 hours, you'll find BGW, PKD and SFA.

I'm guessing but I think Dorney is about an hour and a half, 2 hours from Dorney. I'm only good at judging distance from Knoebels since it's 20 minutes from me. Here's the break down to from Knoebels to other parks:
Knoebels to Hershey 1hr. 15 min.
" " to Dorney 1hr. 30min.
" " to SFA 3hr.
" " to PKD 4hr. 30min.
" " to BGW 5hr. 30min.
" " to SFO 6hr 30min.
" " to CP 8hr. 30min.
" " to Lakemont & Blands 2hr. 30min.
" " to Kennywood 4hr.
These are within about a half an hour or so Depending on traffic and speed 70mph + -
