I have been looking at PR layout pics, and have noticed something. This ride is gonna be short.
The first two drops on SP took about 15 seconds, once off the lift. Then, the looping part of the coaster was slower due to a trim brake, which made the ride a bit longer.
Since I assume there will be no trim, it looks like once the ride gets into the 'new stage' it will be very short. Although they say it will have a longer track length, I am a bit dissapointed that it looks so short.
I still can not wait to ride it though!!
You also can't overlook the chain lift.
Currently Goliath is the "shortest" hyper at 4500 feet in length. Phantom's Revenge will be 1300 feet shorter than that. I said that this looked "too short" when the Badnitrus renderings came out. A drop of 230 feet and a total length of 3200, not long at all.

So you want a coaster in your backyard? I hope you have a big backyard.
Hmmmm.... Goliath is about 55 seconds from the Top of the lift to the brake run. So PR should be about 30-35 seconds long.
I have a feeling that your in for the funnest 30-35 seconds of your coaster life.
However I have to ask, only 30 seconds on a lift hill?

You build it, I'll ride it
I say if the ride delivers than the time it takes from start to finish shouldnt really matter that much. Look at Batman:TR, one of the shortest inverted coasters but also considered to be the most intense.
