Admittedly, I about half blind and the pics seem a little blurry, but is that some sort of 'double-up' on the second hill? If not, what is it? Also, "IF" this is the final layout, I think (us) airtime-whores are going to be treated to another boring ride. This layout looks like the bastard child of MF and SOB, with neither MF's awesome 1st drop nor SOBs ruggedness. Still, I would want to ride it.
Oh, sure. If you look closely, there are several bunny hops in the layout. You like airtime? That IS a double-up there, which I think will produce massive airtime....
Looks nothing like MF and SOB to me......
2Hostyl, don't judge the ride from this low-quality sketch. There's LOTS of places in there that could (and probably WILL) have plenty of airtime -- the "flat stretches" are more likely bunny hops, for one thing (given that Kennywood SAID they'd be there)

It looks like a great ride! It also looks incredibly short! I still can't wait to ride it and make my first trip to Kennywood next year!
For some reason, I just can't wait to ride this coaster. I'm totally psyched!!!

The new KING of coasters:
SFNE Superman
Unforgettable!!!
I dont think those are authentic because they show no change in elevation near the thunder bolt nor some of the other features Kennywood said the ride would have
For some strange reason gang, I don't think that these pictures are professional. To me, they look like someone created a guessed layout in some cheap software program.
I prefer to wait until the layout is released to the public.
The ride will in fact be only over 3200' though. A relitively short ride, but that doesnt bug me
That turnaround by the Thunderbolt lookes wicked!
This will be awesome!

wow! that ride looks simply amazing! i hope they will keep the ravine drop. wait. they are, cool!
anyway, i will miss the steel phantom, but im sure that the phantom's revenge will not be a reminise of the old coaster!

Boris on roller coasters....
"What the hell just happened?!"
Yes the ride will be realitivly short. I believe I heard on the news it will be 180 feet longer than SP That layout shows no elevation or anything, YET. So just wait "airtime whores" until fianl stats and layout are done

I can confirm those pictures are real because I was getting in the back seat of Phantom when Channel 4 was filming them :).
The Phantoms Revenge will be 3200 feet and the Stell Phantom is 3000 feet.
How can you make anything out in those pictures? They are so blurry and poorly done.

They're "blurry and poorly done" because, as far as I've been able to gather, they're screen grabs from the news broadcast of the recording of the sketches shown at Kennywood (get all that? ;) )
So no, you CAN'T make out much detail yet. Kennywood should be posting better versions of these sketches on their homepage at some point.

I went on the Steel Phantom for the first time 2years ago and fell in love with the first and second drops, but the rest of the ride was to rough.
So with the new layout i think it will be smooth and better than the MagnumXL200.
I'll miss the Steel Phantom but you know what they say. "Sweet Revenge" ;) Finally another Morgan hyper in PA. If anyone can top Steel Force Kennywood can. Sorta funny 2 Morgans in PA and both have ghost logos. :)

After comparing the images (is it a model?) with aerial views of the park it looks like there would be room for this layout. Also, the images seem to fit with available information. The second drop looks a little more than five feet longer to me but maybe its the perspective making it seem so. At any rate it looks a knockout as far as I am concerned.
i think this coaster looks great
Steel phantom sucked!!
I think it looks great too! I like the turnaround and drop into the tunnel. I think more parks should do this with their existing coasters to make them more exciting.
