Phantom's Revenge

Me too.

DOWN WITH TRIM BRAKES!
I just wonder when someone will have it in their track record months before it's rideable.

Parks hit for 2000!

If we don't get stats, I would say that Kennywood got us good! I was refreshing like crazy to see an update, and I made sure I hurried home today, as I was thinking "I gotta see what Kennywood's gonna get!" Now, I think this is very funny. Oh well, we'll have to wait.

The press release said logos and photos earlier now it says logos and images, the actual page only has the logo and the Phantoms revenge image.
No stats no photos so far this sucks!!!

#1 Steel-Incredible Hulk
#1 Wood--Timber Wolf
Just got off the phone with Kennywood again...

The girl I just spoke with confirmed that it is a steel coaster, no inversions, and will follow a similar path as Steel Phantom. She also confirmed that it will be called the Phantom's Revenge. She could not confirm stats like height, speed or who the manufacturer will be.

She said that she will have the PR director get back to me this afternoon...

Kennywood 2001:
The Legend Continues
Markings of the layout of the track?
PR-Personal Relations or Phantom's Revenge? :)

-------------

Probably "Public Revenge". I think that suits the situation.

I would like 2 Steel Dragons and a king size MF to go, please.

Oh and can I get a Tonnerre de Zeus woody?
As far as the "Phantom's Revenge" theme, it anyone really suprised??? I mean, the 'official' hints (read rumors) said that it would be someing old yet something new. I think we all saw that coming, especially the part about keeping the T-bolt drop and trashing the inversions. As far as I'm concerned, nothing new has been presented....
I agree
The stats still haven't been announced! Don't give up hope or anything!

The only revelation from this afternoon is we now have a name for the project. And for all we know that might be a temporary thing as well.

OK, whats so HARD about releasing stats and the layout on a new coaster. Why are they trying to be so secretive about it?????

This publicity stunt might have occured to let the Pittsburgh GP know that the Phantom is changing this winter and that if they want one last ride before the end of the season (Labor Day) they'd better come quick.

So thats it! They've been saying that there was an irregular lack of crowds this year.

I think CP spoiled us all with the MF press release, who expected that much stuff on their web site? We expect a lot now.

Still, this really isnt a news item, or really a press release at all. The name and theme is good to know, but thats not really something to call newspapers about.

Oh and can I get a Tonnerre de Zeus frappachino?
This discussion has now been moved to the Coasterbuzz news section.
