Phantom Theater at PKI

What are the possiblities for rides that could replace the Pantom Theater at PKI. I just read at screamscape that the ride could close within a matter of weeks. I've heard about some kind of scooby doo dark ride but I have no clue what it is and if it coudl fit in there. Anyone else have any ideas for this building, or will it be torn down for something else? By the way, heres the link if anyone wants to see http://www.screamscape.com/html/paramount_parks.html

Two other Paramount Parks (Carowinds, Canada's Wonderland) have Scooby Doo Haunted Mansion dark rides made by Sally. The Phantom Theater could easily be turned into one of these. That would greatly increase the popularity of this attraction. To learn more about this ride go to:

On this ride, do you just ride and look around or do you have guns like MIB at universal. Also anyone know how many sq ft the phantom theater building is

Phantom Theater does not have guns, the Scooby Doo rides do.

I would not count on it. Phantom theater is a big attraction. Everything was fixed. Those people movers are only 10 years old. Phantom theater has HUGE capasity it rivals rollercoasters in how fast the line moves.

Part of a Flight Attendant's arrival announcement: "We'd like to thank you folks for flying with us today. And, the next time you get the insane urge to go blasting through the skies in a pressurized metal tube, we hope you'll think of us."

Yea, but the ride is boring and there are empty cars being cycled alot of the time. Its just not popular after 10 years, so they are getting a little freshining up like they have every other decade.
It’s the last ride we’re able to close each night, We have extraordinarily long lines throughout the season.”

Paramount's Canada's WonderlandCertainly seems like a ride PKI would look at IF they replaced the haunted mansion. Seems like the CEO's of these parks would talk since they are both Paramount.

The ride is definetly going. But I don't think till the end of the season.

You don't have to shout. Do you know how many internet etiquette laws your breaking by typing in all caps like that? Well........your breaking one. Don't type in all caps.

Peabody, I know Phantom Theater didn't have guns, I was wondering about the scooby ride. And if Canada Wonderlands one is doing that good then its sounds like a better investment. I like Phantom Theater but its been there for awhile and would be nice to get something that involves todays technology instead of the old robots used in it now.
Gotcha. Every Scooby ride I've been on has guns. They're loads of fun!
