Phall Phun Phest Registration

I am attending the for the first time this year and I want to know if you can just go to the park on that day or youhave to pay ahead of time.

Based on perusing their website (www.knoebels.com), I think you register in advance, but pay when you arrive.

I'm wondering if the registration has a limit, however. I'd like to go, but I'm not sure if I'm too keen on driving out there alone, being surrounded by a bunch of people whom I don't know well, or at all, and putting myself on display.

I've never done the enthusiast thing before. I'm a bit intimidated.

You can just go to the park and register (the food stand near Cesari's pizza and the Haunted Mansion). The online is just to give the park an idea of how many will be there.

I'd go if I were you Chernabog. It's one of the best park sponsered events! Anyone can go it's not just so called enthusiests

but coasterpunk, I sure was "enthusiastic" about my first trip to KG, last year's PPP....that wood can make an enthusiast out of even the most ho-hum GPer....GO if you can...

sadly, I can't go this year....but on the plus side, I do like the guy my sister's marrying, so that's a big plus.....next year I hope to make my second PPP....it's THAT good...

costume winners for me last year....the three blind (Arrow) "mice"... Mad, Wild, and Crazy.....The Wild Mouse/Wild Cat husband and wife....(guess they were from HP, lol)......The Coaster Chicks of New England....the Ghosts of Coaster Designers......and the Knoebels 75th Birthday cake and candles...great vibe, Knoebels is phantastic...Phlyers, BUMPer cars.....brass ring, gold medal....bring warm clothes....;)

Well, I'll try to make it then if it's all-that-and-a-bag-of-chips. I've never done the convention sort of thing, and I'm just a big, whiny social recluse and stuff.

Do you get a t-shirt? I saw people last year who had t-shirts. :)

Chernabog, for the ridiculous price of $12, IIRC, you get pizza, drink, and all the airtime (Phoenix) and laterals (Twister) you can handle...also included are the awesome collection of flats, and make SURE you ride the train once...the line can be long, but it's worth it, and that's all I'll say....

Souvenirs are certainly available, and weren't awful expensive.....but not included....

edit: now I am REALLY missing the birch beer....pleasant childhood memories....

rollergator, I'll ride the Phoenix, Twister, Flyers and Bumper Cars a few times for you! :) Any chance of moving the wedding to Knoebels?

Chernabog, Read some of the past PPP trip reports. They should help you decide in a second if it's worth going to!

They do sell PPP Shirts, or you can win a Scream Team shirt if you win for a costume (the Scream Team shirts are worn by the staff at PPP). Knoebels always comes up with a new shirt every year.

Well, I've been to Knoebel's twice this season, so I know how beautiful and wonderful it is. I may go back just for the Phoenix again.

I think y'all have me nearly convinced. Now, I just need to find someone who's not scared of me, and I'll cling to them :)
