Paramount's Great America 9-22-01:

We arrived at the park and immediately went to Stealth.

Stealth:  A walk-on!  The ride-ops were going really slow and running two trains.  The ride has definetely smoothed-out sinced the last time I went on it and the corkscrews aren't as rough as they used to be. (1 lap)

Psycho Mouse:  My 3rd mouse ever and my least favorite.  It was an okay ride and a 5 minute wait.  The brakes around almost every turn kill this ride. (1 lap)

Drop Zone:  Really awesome!!!  Not as intense as Supreme Scream but I lost my stomach a whole lot. (2 drops)

Demon:  I hate this ride.  It's very rough and I almost passed out after the two vertical loops.  Short and dumb. (1 lap)

Vortex: Didn't ride.  Lines getting LONG!!!

Top Gun:  Short and intense!  Fast flat-spin and helix finale. (1 lap)

7th Portal and Indiana Jones 3D Rides:  I didn't ride the 7th Portal but the Indiana Jones one was really fun.  I usually get sick on these types of rides but I didn't on this. (1 ride)

InVertigo: I didn't need to ride this because Deja Vu kicks it's butt!

The Grizzly:  A waste of space.  Very short woodie but it wasn't as rough as most people say.  I sat in the front. There were also these immature annoying kids behind me in line shooting spit-balls at people.  How lame? (1 lap)

Greezed Lightnin': Uhhhhh, Montezooma's Revenge is WAY better.  They put the brakes on so you barely go up the back incline.  How dumb? (1 launch)

Ratings:

Stealth: 8/10

Psycho Mouse: 6/10

Drop Zone: 8/10

Demon: 4/10

Vortex: n/a

Top Gun: 6/10

Indiana Jones 3D: 7/10

InVertigo: n/a

The Grizzly: 4/10

Greezed Lightnin': 5/10

Overall, I had a fun time but I was expecting more from Psycho Mouse.  The park was dead in the morning but got really busy near 1 o'clock.

Six Flags MarineWorld 9-23-01:

Got to the park as it was opening and immediately walked to Medusa (My #1 coaster.)

Medusa:  We got on the 5th or 6th train of the day.  It was a little bit rougher than I remember but very disorienting and fun.  The Sea Serpant rules! (1 lap)

V2 - Vertical Velocity: One word: AWESOME!!!  The only part that stunk was that they didn't have the hangtime brakes on on the back spike. :( (2 launches)

Roar: I was expecting more from this CCI Twister.  It was rough and didn't do much for me.  GhostRider is way better.

Roar: Didn't ride.  Long line.

Boomerang: Didn't ride.  Boomerang's suck.

Ratings:

Medusa: 9/10

Vertical Velocity: 9/10

Roar: 7/10

Kong: n/a

Boomerang: n/a

One note:  Roar is not a CCI twister, it's a CGI creation.

But I do agree, Roar is very fun but in no way can compare to Ghostrider.

Roar isn't rough, its a woodie! Too bad you didn't ride Invertigo. It is still a very fun ride even if you got Deja. Vortex to me is very good but most people think its just another coaster.

P.S. Why do some many people hate Demon!??!

SFMM line cutters are the braviest in the world.

I don't hate The Demon it's just that I'm the height where the OTSR's are right on my ears/temples, so I get migraines.
