I was looking at PGA's official website and I noticed that the weight limit on Stealth is 260. Currently, I am over that mark by about 25 lbs.
My question is... How strict are thay on that 260 limit? Is that more of a general guideline, or is it a hard and fast rule? I am rather tall and I have never been refused a ride due to my weight. (although I come pretty close on B&M inverts!)
I am sure there a few other chunky monkeys out there who would like to know PGA's rule on Stealth! Thanks!

Gotta ride 'em all!

I hope I can ride. I am going to be out in Cali on Monday and I plan to ride Project Stealth, but what do they do to ensure that you are 260, do they weigh you or something. I think I weight 10 or 15 pounds more.
My friend is 269 pounds and rode with no problem. The problem would not be with the restraints(they are extremely flexable), but the lap bar, which needs to click at least once to secure you. The weight limit is 260, but they won't be rude about it.
So it is basically like Cedar Point about the waist thing. If your waist is larger than the seat belt then you cannot ride. So on this ride if your waist is too big then you cannot ride it, or are they going to weigh you then let you ride?
No they don't have some scale waiting by the loading platform, how crazy would that be? lol! If they can't get the lap bar to click once, you cannot ride. it's really very simple. ;)
Thanks, Sim. I was just wondering since the website specifically stated 260. It sounded like anything over that might put too much stress on the restraint or something.

I know thats why I asked also. Thanx Sim
i have a friend who tops out at around 275 or 280 and he went on the ride. there was no problem with the ride when he got on it and he is relatively large (6'2 275lbs), no worries. peace. :D
