PETA alleges SeaWorld planted agent among its activists

A news release distributed on Tuesday by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals exposes what it says is a SeaWorld human resources worker who posed for several years as an animal-rights activist and on occasion sought to incite illegal protests. The individual, who PETA identified as Paul McComb, a SeaWorld human resources employee, was even arrested during a 2014 protest at the Rose Parade, although evidence of that arrest has disappeared, the animal rights group alleges.

This article from today indicates the employee in question has been placed on unpaid administrative leave. It also states the employee has been placed on paid administrative leave.

Anyway, he's been suspended by the company pending investigation.

It's a good thing PETA activists have never surreptitiously gained access to a company or institution. Otherwise, they'd probably look pretty foolish right now.
