I was speaking in terms of short driving distance and for someone that makes a decent living here. When I refer to Youngstown, it includes the surrounding areas, which are beautiful and cheapest cost of living in the country. Don't get me wrong, the inner city is still rough, very rough, but has actually improved in the last decade (since our last discussion about Ytown. :) )

Ohio has Ohio State University. That makes it worse.

I didn't realize I was in the optimal coaster area... the only parks I get to regularly are Knoebels, Hershey, OCNJ and Moreys.

If you had needed to get to all those other parks, you would have by now.

The Columbus or Cleveland areas are ideal. Cedar Point would be an hour away and you can get there in a around 50 if you take the proper route. Hershey, Kennywood, and Kings Island would be well within reasonable driving distance.

When I moved to Los Angeles two years ago Magic Mountain really did factor in. There are tons of options here also.

I don't think I could live in Montana or something. If I don't stay in Southern California I'll probably move back to Ohio. Having a park nearby is a necessity.

You know, when I go off to college, having multiple theme parks near it is a must. My parents told me that if I get multiple scholarships to college, they'd pay for me to get Six Flags or Cedar Fair Plattinum passes.

You need to learn how to spell Platinum if you want those scholarships.

But seriously, I'll vote for Pennsylvania. But there are plenty of good places. Even Chicago isn't too bad; we have the best Six Flags (insert smiley with wink) and 5-6 hours within CP, KI, Wisconsin coasters, Holiday World and Michigan's Adventure.

I would think that living I Los Angeles or on the North side, You would be close to a lot of parks. Magic mountain, California Adventure, Knotts, and Santa Crus. (If it's still open)I would also say that living in Orlando would be good too, because all the disney parks, and uninversal are there, and Bush Gardens Tampa is only 90 miles away.Otherwise, the border between Pennsylvania, and Ohio.

Fun Spot also has a really sweet GCI opening up 2 minutes from Universal - along with a few flats, a Vekoma junior invert, and a relocated kiddie Miler from the Jersey shore. All the artwork shows a Pendulum ride (KMG Afterburner please), but no Enterprise. Still wondering if the Enterprise from SFoG wasn't purchased INSTEAD of the Afterburner-type ride...remaining optimistic.
