Peeps, Bathrooms, Food, and double wide paths?

What is up with the peeps in the game? I keep getting messages that they can't find bathrooms! I have at least 25 or 30 of them scattered thru the park. The same thing with my food stands. I must have at least 60 food and drink stands!

Is this the double wide path problem? Is it because I themed the food stands inside buildings? I still have most of them right on the midways? I'm stumped. :(

I think it's the themed food stands inside buildings... people can never seem to "find" those, in RCT2 or RCT1. Just a flaw in the game I suppose. No matter how fabulous your themed indoor food stand or food court may look, something placed strategically on a busy path will always sell more than something tucked into a beautiful looking building. Even if the entrance is on a busy path, it might not be the correct place on the path... I'm still trying to figure out what works best.

After a while, If you have a very busy park (like, 8000+ peeps), there isn't much you can do to stop the "I'm Hungry" or "I need to go to the Bathroom" messages. If everything else is spectacular (path layout, quality of rides, etc.) it shouldn't take your park rating down too much.

If guests need some food use the 8 cars per trainer it will feed guests, it will guide guests to bathrooms, quench their thirst and more! hope that thelps as for double paths I dunno.

With the bathroom problem, try this:

Click on each of the restrooms and check the "guests per hour" statistic.

You'll find that some of them are really low, around 50 or 100 peeps per hour. On others, though, they'll squeeze 300 and even over 500 peeps in there every hour. Build more bathrooms in those places. Directly across the path, or even right next door.

The rest rooms can only accomodate a certain amount of peeps at a time (I think 2.) I think they get lost finding the rest rooms when they go to one and it's full.

Thats what I have been doing. I usually put two bathrooms together but maybe I can group more together. I pretty much threw out the idea of keeping my recreation accurate with food stands and bathrooms now.

I know that more than two guests can be in a restroom once. I've seen at least ten. I've also seen more than 900 guests/hour as well. I do not however use double wide paths. They only result in lost guests for me. You also need to make sure that if you have a long narrow loop in your footpaths, you may end up with your guests walking back and forth trying to find the restrooms. Try shortening the loop in order to eliviate this problem.

I just checked my park I was up to 940 an hour and the one right next that restroom was only at 400 somthing.

My park basicly has an outer loop then a bunch of smaller inner loops. When I build parks I try to add the bathrooms so that wherever I look I can see at least two in different areas of the screen.
