Its part of south of the border in dillon south carolina. It's a real tacky tourist attraction. the wild mouse is one of the better of them and the cars have have mouse faces on them with sombreros on. South of the border is filled with t-shirt and porn shops. They have the coolest signs on I-95!

Yeah, this isn't really an amusement park in the traditional respect. It it exactly like Mr.Papercut describes. I sort of think of the place as a joke. They do a good job with their signs though. You could probably just stop for gas and a lap on Pedro's Wild Mouse(or whatever) and get the hell out. That place is creepy.;)

Creepy? No! That place is a monument!

I cannot wait to get on that mouse, ever since I saw the somberos on the mice, WOW! It looks good.

Who's been on it?

BTW, it would be hard to miss, there's many great signs along the way. Pedro really, really wants you to stop. The fireworks are expensive there, don't let 'em trick you.

Ya that does look creepy!

"Take a ride on the 200 foot tall Sombrero Tower!", I'm sorry but that has to be one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

ahhh, south of the border...

A tourist trap with about 1,000 billboards. you cannot miss it. The huge sombrero is funny to look at from the highway.

It's creepy as middle aged men that go to britney spears concerts or the wal mart super center commercials or ketchup kickers. It's just odd!!!!!!

Yep, the same place where Affleck and Bullock in "Forces of Nature" turned to for the wild sombrero ride.

....passed by the place sooo many times as a kid, THEN they get a wild mouse some twenty years' too late...(if I pass by, I'll stop for a spin though)..I have to admit loving these smaller places like FECs and the like getting coasters, but c'mon already, we're INFESTED with all these mice....what we really need is more Exterminators.......(it puts all the other mice in their place). Reverchon ROCKS!!!
That place is a living example of fine American tourism.
I had to go from home in Washington DC to Charleston South Carolina recently. We drove down Interstate 95 and I saw signs for the Wild Mouse. I was so excited! On the way home we stopped at South of the Border (aka Pedroland) and no rides were open, only one shop. I could not even see the Wild Mouse very well. But of course I looked it up on RCDB when I got home! I will probably not go down Interstate 95 again anytime soon. Has anybody really been on it?
South of the Border is easily one of the tackiest places in the US! But I LOVE IT!! I went there last year during a road trip. Its so empty though, so few people are there. Oh and the Sombrero tower looks as if it will collapse at any minute.
Etoile - The same thing happened to me. I went to Myrtle Beach this past May, and stopped at Pedroland on the way to Raleigh. Unfortunately, the rides were all closed at the time of my visit, and I didn't have time to wait around for them to open up.

"drop rides, not bombs."

I went there in April. The ride isint too good they kill it with the brakes. Also with the "mice" wearing sombraeros you cant see where your going. I think it was 3 bucks for one ride. Its a good coaster to ride once for the count.
