PCW Announces (Finally)

Canada's Wonderland has finally officially announced next years attractions.

Besides the Jump2 (Sledgehammer), there will also be Nick Central replacing Bedrock, and a Spongebob 3D film for F/X theatre.

The thing that suprises me most is that the construction for Sledgehammer is already underway. Probably learned their lesson from Psyclone... (which was not finished a week before opening last year. Their crew didn't even get to touch it until a few days before opening).

Flat ride heaven. I think this park has the greatest amount of (operational) flat rides Ive seen

Need a coaster!

PCW is my home park. Has been for the past 16 years, and I have seen this park grow into the great park it is now. But as diverse as the coaster selection is, it needs a signature ride! As much as I look forward to Sledgehammer next year, it just isn't enough for me to justify buying a season pass next year.

Try justifying yourself to buy a Darien Lake season pass, El Gato Coastro!!! You think it's easy for me & the rest of us in the Western New York region? We gotta put up with 5 rollercoasters and like 15 flat rides, not including kiddie. That pretty pitiful. Take also into consideration, that we only have 3 true water-based attractions (wave pool, hooks lagoon, and a set of tube slides).

I'd gladly change places, dude. At least, on hot days, you can spend the entire day at PCW at the waterpark alone, since it's soo much bigger & better... AND it's better than a lot of stand-alone waterparks!!! You could spend eons there and never go bored... not to mention that SPONGEBOB IS COMING... er... not that... uhh... not that I watch it or anything. But think of the children! Yeah, they'll be thrilled that Spongebob is going to be in 3D... (insert Homer Simpson gurgling & drooling)

well, at least the SFDL pass gets you into other Six Flags. You're not that far from SFNE and SFWoA - two moderately entertaining parks. Not to mention only being 6 hours from Cedar Point!

Just trying to inject some optimism in your day.
