That park is so pathetic, people are willing to rent Q-bots to get to the front of the line of people going through the exit.
Ha.
Then they had nice souvenir maps with cartoony drawings of the rides you could buy.
Certain victory.

That park is so pathetic that only RatherGoodBear ever talks about it.
Somebody has to. :)

I remember when Seaside Heights had pay toilets. Maybe they still do-
As of last year there was still a pay toilet in the arcade at the south end of the boardwalk (the one with the Merry-Go-Round). There used to be a need to have to pay to go, there were only 3 restrooms available to the public and half the time the free one was out of service or otherwise locked. NJ passed a law sometime ago about restaurants being required to have a bathroom, so if you find a restaurant... I have yet to see a bathroom at Seaside Heights that is usable (the pay toilets being the worst of them).
There is usually a nice lady that sits in there to let you know that they "don't lock!" DUH!

Either it's not a problem in WV, (yet), or.... ;)
I think maps are good when you're trying to find out where to eat or where the nearest bathroom is etc. But I'm not a big fan of the Cedar Fair maps, because all the rides (well, some of them) are labeled on the map instead of off to the side with a number on the map.
A lady who does projection at our church asked me about the trip and if we ever split up from one another (there were four of us). So I mentioned that at Cedar Point that John--whose not a big fan of sustained heights--skipped out on Power Tower. While we rode both sides, he went and got on the Super Himalaya.
There was just one problem--I couldn't find it labeled on the map and had no picture of it (I remembered it, but where?). She was making fun of me and suggested that I was getting my parks all confused. Luckily, I had a picture of Monster which is also not labeled on the map to show her an example.
According to PointBuzz!, the Super Himalaya is located between Corkscrew and Power Tower, but whereas Monster at least has a graphic, there's nothing for the Super Himalaya. So why doesn't Monster warrant a label (it didn't have one in 2000 either), and why is there no graphic for Super Himalaya?
You'd think that the park that calls itself the "Best Amusement Park in the World" for nine years running would have an accurate map. But hey, it's free!

(RE: Pay Toilets) The point I was making is that trees, telephone poles, garbage cans and fire hydrants are always free
Strange... when I read that I instantly thought of Williamsgrove.

Guess no restrictions because they are so proud they have indoor plumin'?
Williams Grove's bathrooms were the scariest IMHO. If I remember correctly there was ONE small building for the bathrooms...women's on the left and men's to the right, and there was a guy sitting in the middle with a tip jar. :) Remember that, Bill?
