PAX Company-Wicked 2002 Rides and Coasters

This has got to be the most extreme company I have seen before. Strangley enough, I have never noticed them. Their site says that they do have some new ride recently built, but check out the most amazing concept, family coaster, flat rides, and EXTREME coaster for yourself.

You know the idea we had for making Vertical Velocity's spike an obtuse angle(half loop), they've already built shuttle coasters lie that.

On September 3, a new-generation "Cobra" roller coaster was opened to public in Kazakhstan.

Bar-wheel was opened in indoor entertainment complex "Samolet", Moscow, Russia, on April 20, 2001. It's not your average ferris wheel. The cabin can come in many different themes( The Beer Wheel is my favorite). What makes these ferris wheel special......THEY'RE RESTURANTS

Also, they have come out with a new luanched inverted model, called Pax Scream.

Quoting the site:"We have started the manufacture of "Pax Scream" roller coaster. 30 requests have been received so far."

Supposevly, the prototype has been built and a No Limits recreation of it is available for download here. Tell me how the the ride is and whether you would want it in your home park.

I must warn you that that recreation (I made it) is made only off of what I saw on the site and it is not accurate after the 2nd inversion, it does give you a nice idea of what the signature first element does. I've been checking out the company recently as well but I think that some of their ideas (i.e. the ferris wheel restaurant) would be a flop because what if you aren't finished eating after one revolution and in every cabin they need a bathroom which gets pricey and the septic service would have to be on the ball. And you'd need an offsite kitchen where you'd need to order the food before you rode etherwise you'd need a kitchen in every cabin. I do think their Pax Scream is pretty impressive though.

Milwaukee Wisconsin, we bring you beer, brats and cheese. But don't be fooled, "Milwaukee truly is a special secret getaway that I will be sure to tell my friends about!" Erin Brockevich, not to mention that we are an hour from SFGAm........

First off, the kitchen is on site where the station is. You order before you'll actually ride it. The ride is not a regularly timed ferris wheel. On duration will last for over 20 minutes, with some loading stops(but any ferris wheel stop so it can load). Believe it or not, but most food facilities in amusement parks do not have there own bathrooms. Never do these, you don't need a bathroom in each cabin. You can install one nearby the ride. Does the 30 minute Sky Ride over the mountain@Lake Compounce need bathrooms becuase of a long ride? IF you need to go to the bath room, just go on the mountain like all the other animals do. Also, this ride takes reservations, and as most resturaunts don't do, they don't kick you out because they need more room. Come on though, it's not world class cuisine and shouldn't take you over a half hour to eat it. This ride so far has been a success and is currently in three locations,

I don't know if there are any PAX rides in the US or not, but the State Fair of Texas has ordered one of their single looping shuttle coasters for the 2002 fair.

Titan Laps: 195
2002 SFOT Visits: 7

You know, they were at IAAPA 2001 Trade Show,so maybe some of those 30 requests for the Pax Scream(Launched Inverted Looping Coaster) are for USA parks. Who knows, this was their first time at IAAPA with major rides on the market, so some parks may get some of their rides. Those family and kiddie coaster should be the standards for Junior steelies. The twisted elements of an Intiman hyper in the size of a Venkoma Rollerskater.

Check out their family coasters:

Formula 1

Wild Train

Crazy Train

Rodeo

Puss-in-Boot
