patched , but still no peep thoughts button....

It is supposed to be under the rides management button in park management right? Not there....

And I know it patched because my floorless can hold more than 5 cars now.....

You'll notice there is now a new 7th button titled "Guests" - there you go.

only six for me , wierd...

Are you sure you're patched? Look at the date on the game executable. It should be Nov 2. If not, patch again.
