Ole Lange, the author of the NoLimits coaster simulator for your PC, has released a patch that fixes bugs and introduces a B&M hyper-style train. This brings the current version to 1.25.

Thanks Ole. Great train design as always Tom. Now I know what it's like to ride in that particular train.

Did this ever happen in No Limits? Looks like theming from my favorite Rocket Coaster. ;)

CFM, yes there are tons of themed coasters for NoLimits. Go to Coastersims.com or Coastergames.net. I've personally created a number of terrains for the game plus helped a guy do a recreation of Goliath (tunnel and all). I'm currently recreating Nemesis at Alton Towers (terrain and all). Even if you never build a single coaster I think the $25 shareware fee is worth it just to ride some of these creations. The simulation is much more sophisticated than anything else out there.

...That only happens if you import your own 3D objects into the game... and from what I heard, you either got to do a lot of hunting & searching on the web for 3D objects, or get some good 3D modeling program that will make them.

I'm not sure what sim coaster site it was at, but there was one where you had to pay to download those objects. It would have been nice if Ole included some just as an example of the theming that you can set (*hint* *hint*).

Thanks for the info Phyter and DawgByte, I don't even have the game yet, as I have been waiting to get it for my new computer. It looks great, and the inclusion of 3-D objects sounds very cool!

I really look foreward to your Nemasis recreation Phyter as I've never been able to find a decent one and Nemasis is one of my favorite coasters

Back on topic,

This is great news! Ole keeps doing a great job with this and I'm thrilled to see such a great addition. Is he still working on the wooden coaster as I havn't heard much about it recently...

Dingo, yah he's going to release Wooden coasters styles in the v1.3 later this year. The supports will use the same sort of technique as Ultimate Ride but look much more detailed and realistic. We also expect there to be a great deal of customization with the wooden prefabs. If you want wooden coasters now you can fake it by using the wooden support generators (available on http://Coastersims.com/tia).
