Pasaje del Terror: From the Inside!!

Posted | Contributed by d n s u

Ed Marzola talks to Bits of the Beach about the Pasaje del Terror, his role in the company that invented the attraction, the special effects used and his initial attempts to sell it to Geoffrey Thompson back in 1993!

What an excellent exclusive!  Congratulations.
You know, all of the GOOD haunted houses are over in the UK...along with all of the GOOD flat rides!  I have yet to see a Tagada or Human Pool Table make a return in the USA.  I want some cheesy, old fashioned haunted houses like Trauma Towers.  I want an excellent permanent haunted house like Pasaje Del Terror in the USA.  Heck...if it's a ride-through, let it be a ride-through...as long as it's good!  Please, USA, bring back the excellent haunted rides that used to be so great!  Bring back "Big Kid" funhouses with human pool tables and people who poke you with a mild cattle prod!  PLEASE!

Anyway, great article.  I want to go to BPB now even more!

If you see me running, try and keep up!

Are you serious?  An electric cattle prod?!?

The best fun house in the UK is at BPB's sister park, Pleasureland, Southport (very near Blackpool).  But no cattle prod (I assume)!

Anyway, yes, Blackpool is just awesome for old dark rides.  It really does have loads.
