Parts arrive for Cedar Point's new S&S attraction

No one is entirely familiar with the exact nature of the ride, but it appears that Cedar Point is building a "slingshot" or "thrillshot" in Challenge Park. The ride seems to be similar to other rides that propel a small vehicle and its passengers into the air.
The parts arriving are exactly like those that arrived at Six Flags Magic Mountain a few weeks ago.

Man, I really hope for a launched Intamin of some sorts. Something not like STE or Monte (straight out/straight back) but something along the lines of Mr. Freeze, but Intamin Insane Style. I think it could be done in that small space that Windjammer took up.
To get back on subject though, does anyone have an insight to how tall these S&S upcharge attractions are going to be? They're gonna be Total Insanity I tell ya!

I tried submitting this news item a while ago when I went to Cedar Point on Memorial Day. A ride op on the Ripcord told me about it. But apparently it didn't get to Jeff or I'm not good enough to send rumors in. I'm out.
I just came back from Cedar Point I did see a simi truck holding white steel supports. I was talking to one of the ride operators look for a possible thrust air coaster in 2002. I hope they dont get ride of disaster transport because its one of my favorites there I rode it 35 times when I went to Cedar Point.
