Part of Titan under water as construction nears close

Posted | Contributed by Jeremy Ross

Due to locally heavy rainfall, one of Titan's last dives is actually submerged in several feet of water.

The second helix has been completed, and there are only a few remaining pieces of track to be installed until Titan is complete.

SFoT CoasterNet has added 87 new construction photos, showing all this and more.

Ummm. WOW. Thats an interesting pic of the track submerged in water.

That won't take long to pump the water from, but could delay construction as they consider putting in a water pumping system.

>87 New Construction Photos from March 25th!

Too bad we saw these March 24th on LoneStarThrills.com ...

And correct me if I am wrong, do I REALLY need to see 87 construction photos from the *same day*? How many times can you photograph the same ride in one day? Especially since bandwidth from your site now that you're on liquid-web is far inferior to what it once was.

This is from a fibernode T3 on a uunet backbone:

is anyone noticing the same trend as me?

Just curious.

Panther Modern

Looks like Titan is the water coaster SFOT's been rumored to receive.
YOU GO PANTHER!
Wow, good thing this happened before the coaster opened. Now they have time to fix whatever needs to be fixed so that that is not a runoff area. Imagine riding the coaster straight into that! It would act as some serious brakes!
Hmm, so they went with the Matterhorn braking system on Titan! And they said that old Arrow technology would never be used again!

Else Titan is a Hyper Liquid Coaster?

CoasterGeorge
I'd love to ride Titan through the water, even if it meant not finishing the whole ride :)

Will there ever be a park prettier than BGW?
And not a soul cares about your worthless statistics Panther! At least he can build a quality website without putting offensive content and being rude to people.

right on brandon. I don't know what all that junk means on panther's message but it doesn't look nice and it doesn't have anything to do with coasters. personally, I like SFotcoasternet

clash of the TITAN, 2001!
I tell ya, I don't even live in Texas and don't plan on riding Titan any time soon, BUT I think that the coverage of the construction of Titan has been second to none. I have to tip my hat to the folx with the websites that update like that..I can only hope that somebody will be that enthusiastic when/if SFKK ever gets a new coaster. Keep the updates coming no matter what bandwidth you have or what your "ping" rate is.

God please let SFKK get something this year. ANYTHING!!

Panther... honestly, I don't think anyone is impressed that you know how to ping a server or what kind of connection you have.

This is not the place to criticize other sites. Not a good way to make your first post.

First read this:
http://www.lockergnome.com/manifesto.html

Then we'll accept your apology and wait for you to put something meaningful on the Internet that others may enjoy while you absorb the related expenses of running a site.

I happen to like SFoTCoasternet too, the more pics the better. And I only live 30min from SFoT. I saw Titan for the first time yesterday, and even 87 pictures don't do it justice!
