I liked Agent Johnsons remark:

"I know that Disney is king, but they are in their own little realm."

Because it reminds me of when we visit a friend of mine who is a "Suit" at WDW and he and My Wife get into the "my park is better than your park" rants. He always ends with.

"Disney has no competition.. Seriously"

The sad thing is.. He's right.. In visitor numbers and revenue.. They truly dont.. Course it doesn't stop them from going at it again during our next visits..

Thanks for that amusing reminder A.J.

Since PR seems intent to own the parks and not run them, is it possible they'd buy the Busch properties and hire the Busch family to run them? I see that being a win-win situation for pretty much everyone involved. I'm sure the people running the Kennywood parks draw more than just a salary- they must have income based on performance, right?
Seems to me that would be the best possible outcome. Keep the people who know the business and are good at operating it, while supporting them with enlightened backing.
I like that business plan more than what seems to be the most popular one in recent times, which is to hire an ex-Six Flags exec. Seems there are hundreds of them floating around the industry, which must be saying something.
