Parks with the most 54" height requirement.

I have brought up a couple of topics with my disapproval of the 54" height requirement on some coasters. I know its necessary on some coasters but on others, I dont understand. Will SFGAm have the most coasters with a 54" height requirement with the additions of Deja-Vu and V2? If so that would bring the 54" club to SFGAm at 6 coasters. Any other parks with this many coasters at the 54" minimum?

Chitown - I was thinking the exact same thing last night. I then began thinking about the admission price and how if you pay the adult admission price you will be not able to ride 6 of the coasters.

If your under 48" you ca only ride 3 coasters at the park. I never really thought about this before, but that really sucks.

I have a big peave about the pricing structure compared to the heights.

For some reason I feel a family coaster is coming soon.

I dont know if they will have the *sheer number* title, but IOA has to have the *percentage* title. Since all B&M loopers have the 54" min that takes care of Hulk, Fire and Ice, which is over half of there coaster collection. The only things left are flying Unicorn and Pteradon Flyers (lames).

This is pretty hard pecause it seems that SFGAm has the lead. Let's see:

SFWoA has 3
CP has 2
SFGAm has 6
IoA has 3
SFMM has 3 (Am I Counting Wrong?)
SFMW has 2

and so on...
Who cares!!. Safety is MORE important than riding a ride. Parks do not make 54" height requirements for the enjoyment of pissing people off. I'd rather go to a park that has high safety standards than a park with little or none. Just look at PKI they are very strict on safety, and that is the way it should be. So I salut SF on their safety measures.
Six Flags Magic Mountain has five. Or will have five.

- Deja Vu
- X
- Batman: The Ride
- The Riddler's Revenge
- Viper

Boat: First off, it is crystal clear apparent that Chitown cares otherwise he wouldnt have made the topic. I'm sure there are many others with 'little thrillseekers' that would like to visit parks where they know the tykes will be able to ride more than watch. If you dont care that is fine, but it is clear that someone does so your question is moot!

Second: I see no reason why restraints could not be engineered for smaller riders. I personally think that 4foot 6inches is a rather arbitrary target height and dont see why B&M particularly aimed for this height.

kRaXLe: X has a height restriction of 48", not 54". Just clearing that up, oh, and yes, SFGAm will have six 54" coasters, the most anywhere.

"No listenin', you hear me?"
SFGadv. has six coasters, (seven if you count each Chiller track individually). Also, nitro suprisingly has a 54" height requirement.
Ok, why does SFGAm have 6? I think it should be 5. They should lower Shockwave to 48", because that one is equiped with the same kind of trains and restraints as Demon. I have yet to notice a major or minor difference in the trains! If they did that, that would make a friend of mine (who is vertically challenged, but not a "little person") very happy.

V2, Deja Vu... how can it be better? Add Viper! Oh, wait. It's already there!
I think the real point of Chitown (at least from my viewpoint) is that they have to pay full price for a 48" tall "child" that cannot go on 67% of the coasters. What SFGAm should do is raise the height to 54" as the limit between child pricing and full price adults.

I know that this point might not make everyone happy, but it is a fact. That people under 54" can go on all the kiddie rides in the park. So, people between 48"-54" can go on some great coasters and also get on all the kiddie rides. So, actually they get access to a lot of rides, that people over 54" can't go on. So, granted that the people in here are for the coasters, but some kids do not care for the rollercoastrs and want to ride kiddie rides.

The Raging Bull #1!!
Is CP the only park with a "Tweener" price? At CP in recent years (maybe they don't even do it anymore), people in between 48 and 54 inches could get in for a slightly less price.

Coasters...the best natural buzz available.
SFGAm STILL HOLDS A RECORD!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I'm desperate :(

Tell that to my daughter who is about 49" tall, looks at coasters like Raging Bull and doesnt understand why she cant ride it. I agree that Shockwave and Iron Wolf should be 54" but RB definitely should not. This coaster is smooth as glass, and has no harsh elements. If MF can have a 48" height requirement then RB should have the same.
