I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!
Here is one that may excite you. Wild Adventures is open fri-sat-sun year round according to their brochure. I heard a commercail while driving home from IAAPA that announced all their holiday activities including a buffet with the price. I think they have a few rides.
A fun park to visit through December weekends before Christmas is Santa's Village in Jefferson, NH. It is a small theme park with a great atmosphere that is especially effective in the snow. There are lots of Christmas lights and music throughout the village which is beautiful to stroll at night. Many rides are open during Christmastime including the ferris wheel, bumper cars, Skyway Sleigh (monorail), S.S. Peppermint Twist (rockin' tug boat), Humbug Adventure (Sally Dark Ride), antique cars, reindeer carousel, the train, and many more.

There are many indoor restaurants and shops, a live stage show, and a 3-D movie. Santa's Village is not a major theme park, but it is a very nicely kept family park in the White Mountains of Northern New Hampshire. It is a beautiful drive to get there and worth the trip for a Christmas family event.

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is open 12/26 through the new year. I know the local ACE'rs always get together on New Years Day to ring in the new year with a few spins on the Giant Dipper.

Don't also forget the Vegas coasters!

Over here in Japan Tokyo Disneyland is open all year 365 days. except for some days for maintnence and other things. *** Edited 12/9/2003 8:50:34 AM UTC by Colin Fisher***
