Parks in PA Plan

I am considering going to either Williams Grove, Hershey, and Knoebels, or going to Knoebels and Dorney. I wanted to know if the kids in PA go back to school already. I am concerned about crowds even though it is going to be a Wednesday. If anyone can give me advice on how long lines are at any of the parks are or how many hours I will need to spend at a certain park. I want to make one of the two planned trips. I have been to Hershey 2 times before but I have not ridden Lightning Racer and I have not been to any of the other parks. Is Ligntning Racer worth going to Hershey for? Any advice or tips about certain parks and what parks are worth going to, is greatly appreciated. Also, will I be able to do any of the parks that I have planned for in one day because I can only go for one day. The reason that Dorney and Knoebels are the only parks in the first trip plan is because it takes about 2 hours or so to get between the parks unlike Williams Grove and Hershey and Knoebels.... which are close together.

Trip #1 Dorney and Knoebels

Trip #2 Williams Grove, Knoebels, and Hershey

Sorry about the long post, all response are greatly appreciated.

IMO I don't think Lightning Racer is worth the trip to Hershey but, I love Great Bear. I have never been to Willams Grove or Knoebel's so I can't help you there. I was just at Dorney Park on Sunday and I would defintely recommend going there. Talon and Steel Force are both awesome rides and I also enjoyed Thunderhawk.
I don't know about Central PA, but most of the schools in Western Pennsylvania are going back this week.
There are no lines at Hershey and Dorney .  On a good day you could cover all the coasters in both parks in a day. I got on all the coasters at dorney in 2:15 hours. Hershey I covered in abot 5 hours. I dont know if i just went on good days or what. I know Dorney is always like this but Im not sure about Hershey.
I would go to dorney and hershey because their only an hour apart.
I would try to get Hershey and Dorney, but if you have to choose between the two, Hershey has more coasters than Dorney

1)Batwing 2)S:RoS-SFNE 3)Nitro 4)Medusa-SFGAdv 5)Steel Force
ACE15:  I recommend you get to Knoebels so do trip #1.

But both in one day?  I feel that will limit your enjoyment of both.  Oh, well.

Schools in Central PA started this week.
Most schools in the lehigh valley(allentown where dp is) have already started sch.The hershey/harrisburg area has also already started sch.I would Highly reccomend hershey park over dorney,But if u can do both go for it,they are an hour apart ,and you stay on just one interstae between them(78/split to 81).Try both dont pass up hershey though, lightining racer is the best woodie ive been on,and they do out coaster dp.But the talon at dp is tight,
