Well, it depends on which numbers are 'a few' to you.

I guess Indiana Beach is close, at about 2.5 hours, and Big Chief is only up in the Dells, so that's not to bad.

The thing with MiA, though, is that it's a good 4 hour drive from Chicago. I drove about 2 hours to get there this summer (from lower Michigan), and I couldn't really justify that after seeing the park. If you don't mind the drive, by all means, go for it, but don't expect too much.

SFStl is just as far as CP or WOA. You could also get to Worlds of Fun for that matter. You also have the Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio border parks being SFKK, PKI, Holiday World. Like stated before it depends how long is a little while.
Thanks for the help. Are most of these Parks small ones or or there any major ones besides Six FLags and Cedar Point? And what are the Best ones?

If you're trying to put together a major trip to big parks, and we can assume you're coming out of Chicago, give us an idea how far you want to go and how much time you have. I assure you, evreyone on this site loves to plan coaster trips and will jump in with a bunch of suggestions.

Id be leaving Wheeling Il and id have a week or two. I was planning on Going from here to HolidayWorld then To Cedarpoint and any park inbetween there. On the way home from Cedar Point id go to Indiana Beach. Id like to hit as many parks as possible in that time.
You have a week or two to travel to parks but yet you originally wanted to know what parks are within a 3 hour drive? Comeon, make up your mind. :)

If you have that kind of time and you plan to hit CP first, I would recommend after that of travelling down to PKI, then hitting SFKK, and then HW. On the way home you can hit IB.

Thanks for the help im not really to sure how i want the trip to go but i want to hit a few major parks or little parks. It will be my first trip alone so i wanna do anything i can possible sorry if i piss any of you off.
I'd second what Chitown is saying. If you do have that kind of time, consider going a little further east and pick up Six Flags Worlds of Adventure in Cleveland and then down to Kennywood in Pittsburg before heading to Kings Island.

And if you'd have noticed the smiley face in Chitown's reply, you'd realize he's not pissed off.

Yeah I know he isnt pissed off I just dont want to piss anyone off though. Are King Island and Kennywood worth the extra drive? Cause if so then Id rather go to CP. SFWOA, then Kennywood, KI then SFKK maybe again I dont really like this park to much the HW, Indiana Beach and then home. And are there any other Parks that are worth going to in Indiana or anywhere in between those parks i listed?
If you have a full 2 weeks than yes, all of these parks are a possibility. Kennywood gets alot of praise and KI is a great corporate park. If you are coming from the Chicago area (like myself), make the trek all the way to Kennywood first and hit the other parks mentioned. Its basically a line of parks based on location.

Go up to Rollercoasters at the top of the page and you will find out where Beast and SOB reside. We shouldn't have to do all the homework for you.

Whatever trip you take, enjoy it.
