Six flags St. Louis and Holiday World have cancelled or postponed fireworks (HW cancelled) for the 4th because it is so dry. Wonder how many more parks will follow suit.
Yeah, thats great. Go to Wildwood for Morey's Piers and see a great production that Wildwood puts on. Music on the Piers and boardwalk are sync'd to the show.
Here's the Displays I'll be going to for Fourth of July Week.
Today Merritt Island (Delta IV Rocket Launch)
June 30 - Orange City
July 3 - Altamonte Springs
July 4 - Port Orange or Ormond Beach
July 6 - New Smyrna Beach
July 7 - Daytona International Speedway (Coke-Zero 400 Post-Race Display)
Trying to decide what I want to do for the fireworks here in the Orlando area. July 3 will definitely be Magic Kingdom from either the Polynesian beach or TTC, but July 4th is still up in the air. I'm trying to decide between Celebration, EPCOT, or DHS. It sounds like the DHS event will be similar to the special event fireworks they had earlier this year with Mulch Sweat and Shears providing the music, so I'm leaning towards that since I didn't get to see that special event version (I was working across the street and couldn't get out early).

A lot of the area fireworks in Michigan have been cancelled due to lack of rain. It has been in the 90's here for a second week, and is supposed to stay in the 90's all of next week, with little rain in the forecast. I usually go to the fireworks down in Sauagtuck, but probably won't go to any this year. But it's ok, the Venetian festival in August has much better fireworks anyways.
I went to Cedar Point on the 4th once. Good fireworks show.
I didn't do it! I swear!!
