Okay I saw the PKI thread about this and I figured to take a chance. So please don't start agruements or I will encourage Jeff to close this. Pick or fav park of all time and list a couple things you think will make it even better.
For Example my fav park is SFO and i personally think they should hire way better friendlier ops and bring back all the old favorite flat rides like Scrambler, Flying scooters, rotor and maybe add a few brand new extreme flats too.
Now without argueing or picking on people or being right out mean pick our favorite park ever and improve it. And its okay to disagree.

Don't mess with the X in 01
SFGadv: They are in need of a good wooden Roller Coaster and possibly a freefall drop larger than Stuntman's. Other than that I think they are fine!
I like cp a lot but I think they could put a lot more effort into cleaning the bathrooms.

Phoenix-A great town and a great coaster
Okay this is a good chance to examine the second love of my life... Worlds of Fun and actually examine what I would change about it.
First: Clean the park up! Its a mess, I hate coming in through the gate and right there are a bunch of tables pilled high with flies, three hour old half eaten funnel cakes and overflowing trash cans. Plus... bathrooms with standing water and USED tampons litering the floor. I know gross, just wanted to give you some ideas before I explain what I would do about it. Worlds of Fun used to be the cleanest park in the nation besides Disney. How do I know this?
#1 still posted on each bathroom door it states, Worlds of Fun is proud to be the cleanest park in the nation If it is not satisfactory to you please report it to the nearest ambassador (or something like that)
#2 My father worked at Worlds of Fun back in 1973, and Jeff Mast (my fiance) worked at Worlds of Fun for 10 years in the 80's. What does that matter? Its very important, Jeff's supervisor practically almost fired him for missing one piece of trash buried in bush on the Orient Express Q-Line. Need I go on? Hunt was OBSESSED with cleanliness.
No there is no ROI (groan I cant help it), involved directly. However, do you think visitors are going to come back to a dirty park again? Nope they can just drive the four hours to Six Flags St. Louis or Silver Dollar City. I would...
Second: MAINTANCE (not a good speller so have pity please!)
Third: RIDES cant believe rides is third? Well believe it. I guess maybe im biased, but I honestly liked having world class rides every so often. Sure we loved Mamba, and Detonator and heck (BIG GROAN) even Boomerang. However, people are not going to come back to see a pay per extra USED Grand Prix. THATS why attendance went down. (one of them). However, if they had added a good flat ride, even a used one! (two of our current rides are used, and im not complaining)It would ha攀 欀攀瀀琀 愀琀琀攀渀搀愀渀挀攀 氀攀瘀攀氀 昀爀漀洀 㤀㤀㠀⸀ 吀栀攀渀 琀栀攀礀 猀琀椀氀氀 挀漀甀氀搀 栀愀瘀攀 愀搀搀攀搀 䈀漀漀洀攀爀愀渀最 愀渀搀 洀愀礀戀攀 爀愀椀猀攀搀 愀琀琀攀渀搀愀渀挀攀 愀 戀椀琀⸀ 㰀戀爀㸀 㰀戀爀㸀䄀渀礀眀愀礀 樀甀猀琀 琀栀攀 昀愀挀琀猀⸀⸀⸀⸀ 㰀戀爀㸀 㰀戀爀㸀倀攀愀挀攀 䰀漀瘀攀 愀渀搀 䠀愀瀀瀀椀渀攀猀猀 㰀戀爀㸀 㰀戀爀㸀䨀攀渀渀椀昀攀爀 䰀漀瘀攀猀攀攀 㰀戀爀㸀
my fave park would be sfga because it is close to me and i can get there many times a season. the one thing i would love to see there is a giga speed coaster like millenium force. i belive it is one of the best rides and unlike others the speed keeps this ride exciting so i hope in the future we can make it to 300 ft

That's what the little button next to the submit reply button is for ;).
Any way, my favorie park, Cedar Point, could stand to do somthing about the bathrooms, because, well, DAMN! Any one who's been there during mayfly season knows what it's like to get sick at a park from somthing other than the rides.
They could also stand to improve the food a little bit, and to put in a GCI or CCI woodie.
Just what I think...

It should be no surprise that my all-time favorite park is definitely Cedar Point. Now, improvements??? I think something should be done with the Oceana Midway. This is sort of the dead part of the park. The Boardwalk project coming in would be awesome, but even a ride would be great (preferably a CCI!).
Speaking of CCI, Cedar Point definitely needs a great wooden coaster. Hopefully, we'll see this soon, but with CP's obsession of breaking records, who knows...
A dark ride would be great also. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Pirate Ride, but I would sure rather have that than the "Quarterdeck Arcade."
They should use that building to construct an awesome, high-tech dark ride. Heck, I guess in all its cheesiness, the Pirate Ride was sort of neat...
NEW FLAT RIDES!!! Chaos is a great ride, but the park desperately needs some of these new high-tech flat rides, like Frisbees and Flat-spins. Even some classic flat rides, like a Rotor, Whip, and Flying Scooters (besides the Kiddy version in Camp Snoopy)would do a lot to add a nostalgic charm to the park, esp. if they were placed in the supposed Boardwalk section with a classic CCI woodie!
I suppose this is impossible, but I think the Frontier Trail should be maintained. In the past few years, with the additions of Mantis and Millennium Force, the charm and quietness have been sucked out of this neat section of the park. Now, I say this not totally believing it, because I would rather have Mantis and MF than a quiet old trail with shops, but still, I think CP should do all it can to prevent further "erosion" of the Frontier Trail. Not everybody who goes to the park is a roller coaster rider, and this section of the park used to be like a world removed from the rest of the park, a nice place to escape from the sun and the hectic crowds found in the other parts of the park. Like I said, though, I would still rather have Millennium Force than the trail!

Yeah, and the park at night is horrible! I don't think they have replaced burnt out lights in at least five years. I could not believe how bad it looked on EVERYTHING that has lights (Detonator, buildings, etc)
yuck!

I would make PKI better known for thrills. PKI needs a big steel coaster as there longest is the Vortex at 3,800 feet. Also, they need some more flat rides. Bring back some old rides that used to me at Coney Island to compliment the scrambler, monster, flying eagles and carousel all of which were located at Cincinnati`s Coney Island.
I agree with CoasterClay, however lights sad to say arnt all the important when there are far more important matters. But while your on the subject what is it with half the lightbulbs being burnt out? It used to be we had a special "Worlds of Fun At Night" light celebration. Everything that could be covered with lights was. Even the Skyliner, they payed good money for that special light package (its pretty cool) and now half of them are burnt out as well! Its sad, they have to turn FLOODLIGHTS on. I was just happy when they fixed most of the lightbulbs in Europa. (only 4 where working!!! I came back the next week and 11 of the 13 themed light lamps worked it was a little bit better and I was atleast a little happy) I know its seems like im complaining about nothing. But when I see them spend millions of dollar to light up the Millinium Force (VERY COOL) I dont understand why they cant spend the small amount of money to replace standard lightbulbs.... Im sorry. This again has to do with the guest experience that is SO LACKING at Worlds of Fun. I could handle the poor rides, if nothing else suffered. But everything is suffering and its only getting worse. Im not holding a grudge against all CP fans you have a right to love your park (I enjoyed it my feet didnt), but they are destroying mine and many many others memorys.... I think this season I might just fall apart and cry if its any worse... :(
As always just the facts....

awww.....Don't worry Jennifer.....hopefully things will get better!
Knoebels only needs season passes and I'd be good to go.
Appearance wise I think they could redo the Phoenix's station. It was built before the park actually started to really prosper and make a name for itself. Now compared to Twisters grand station it just looks bad.
Better queues around some of the rides wouldn't hurt either.
Other than that i wouldn't change a thing.

2000 stats: 135 coasters in 26 parks
Not Too Shabby For A Summer
My favorite park is of course Six Flags Great America. I think they need a giga, something similar to Millennium Force but maybe with a couple inversions. They should make it 101 MPH and break MM's record.
-------------
Jack, who can't wait for Opening Day 2001...
Seeing as how SFGAm cannot build ANYTHING above 310', I don't think we'll see anything breaking the 100mph barrier here. Unless of course, it utilizes LIM/LSM technology with that 310' drop. :)
Suffice to say though, it ain't happenin'.

SFGAm Impulse -- where the losers go when they don't get to operate Bull.
Amen Jennifer, I think CF should concentrate on distributing the wealth (at least on park maintainence and cleanliness at ALL there parks.
My fav park is VF: And really all I think they're missing is one more world class ride.

You build it, I'll ride it...eventually
Knott's Berry farm just needs a steel coaster, period. Preferably Intamin or Giovanola.

Life's too short! Let's go ride some coasters!
