On may 4th I was going to go to sfa but it says its boy scout day. Does this mean I can't get in?

Go to sixflags.com/america and check the hours of operation. If it has hours listed, you can get in.
I'm not sure,maybe you should call the park in advance and ask.Another way to check is to look at the schedule which shows the parks hours of operation if it's open then my guess is that the GP is allowed to enter the park,they're doing a cheerleading event on saturday and as far as I know they are still open to the public.
I had a problem similar to that. Last year at SFA we could'nt get in because some kind of V.I.P. day or something.
