What I'd like to know is why this Ed Pearson person who furnishes Jacob's e-mail address can get a job doing graphic design, but I can't.

Hot stuff.

You mean permanently?

A day is a drop of water in the ocean of eternity. A week is seven drops.

Most parks will stay open till the first weekend in Nov. Thats mostly any place that gets cold. Your best bet is to check out the park site for hours they are open. But as far as I know everyone is open until Nov 2nd on the east coast.

Not Cedar Point. They close the 26th of October.

I like to think I am a lot like Dragster. I have lots of down time, and I provide some great thrills.

Dorney Park also closes on October 26th.

You guys are right. But the latest that any north Eastern park stays open is Nov 2nd. All others close the last weekend in Oct. Sorry for not being more specific.

Visionland is open through Nov 2nd.
Heck! I can'timagine CP on November 2nd. At least not in regular November weather! Being almost completely surrounded by Lake Erie, and it's unpredictable weather, can be a bear. When we went last year in May, the first day was mid-70's and clear, and on the next day the temp. was low-50's and very windy. We about froze our butts off, though we still rode coasters until about 2pm, when we'd just had enough of the great outdoors that day!
My home parks close on the following:
Celebration City closes at 10pm Nov 1st and Silver Dollar City closes at 9pm on Dec 28.
Valleyfair closed on sept. 22
Kennywood closed after Oct. 25th

Let your imagination take over:

Cedar Point should have a winter season as well, and not just that indoor water park at Radisson. They have Halloweekends, how about Chillweekends. Not with all of the rides operating, but just a few and indoor attractions. -There's one advatage DT has over the other coasters. :) Keep the CP&LE rail road operating with people throwing snow ball at the passengers. Replace the haunted Halloween attractions with Winter Wonderland scenes to walk through. Cover TTD's tower with red and white shrink rap that will represent the North Pole. Build some artificial snow covered sled and ski jumping hills along the midways. Transform the main arcade w/ dance hall into a snow fort, just how Disney transformed the Magic Kingdom into a birthday cake for the 25th anniversary. Replace the bucket cars on the Sky Ride with ski lift benches. Ice skating will be offered when the lagoon freezes. Replace soft drinks with hot chocolate, and pasteries replace french fries.

Soak City will remain open, but as Freeze City. Let the water run though the slides until it freezes, then replace the tubes with sleds. Of course the tubes can work just as good, sometines even better than sleds. Challange Park will have snow mobiles on the go-cart track. Keep Rip cord open for a real chilling thrill along with cool game of miniture golf.

And of course, accomodations at Light House Point, Camper Village, Sand Castle, and the Breakers. ;)
