Park Building Height Limit

lol, Edwards AFB is in California, McGuire AFB is like 15 miles away from SFGAdv, I believe there is no height restriction there.
Theres no way the skytower at Carowinds is 340, even with that huge pole on top.

I'm pretty sure that the Skytower at Carowinds is 340 feet. Most seem to be atleast 300ft. high, and if you look at it from far away, it looks that big. It does have the light on top and all. How tall are the Eiffel Towers at PKI and PKD? They seem to be about the same as Skytower too.

Even with a strict enforcement of height limits on parks, some places haven't the legal leg to stand on if the park has a case. For instance old Geauga Lake took the Township of Bainbridge to court and won the right to build the Skycoaster. After that Bainbridge has been more willing to talk to the park.

WOA has to have the strangest height restrictions. Being in two counties (thus two local governments, City of Aurora and BainbridgeTownship) things can get confusing. In Bainbridge the height restriction is at its highest along 43 where i believe it's in the neighborhood of two hundred feet. From there it steps back to the Ranging Wolf Bobs area where it is at 65 feet. There is that new exception of like 210 feet that applies to the newly aquired land in the marine park. But SWO had a limit in it's deed restricting all amusement rides so the need for limits in that park of Bainbridge wasn't necessary until 2001.

In Aurora the old Geaga Lake portion was a very lofty limit of at least 200 feet if not more. But that is only a sliver of land in the water park now. On the other side of the lake the marine park has no height limits that i know of. Again because Sea World had no legal right to build "traditional" amusement rides Aurora had no need to restrict that land. But since it seems that the park has been trying its luck with the city to see what can be built. Until some sort of legislation is in place the ability of the park to build is sketchy at best. But even if Aurora doesn't help, the vast majority of the park and its land for expansion is in Bainbridge. Therefore Aurora has little to say about what is built in the park.

Can someone comfirm that the Carolina Skytower at Carowinds is 340 feet? That just seems AWFULLY high. Is that statistic including that giant flagpole?

The Carolina Skytower is 340ft of "Breathtaking Excitment!" (According to Carowinds;))

It is actually very high considering most of the Intamin towers from that era don't cross the 300ft line.

Of Course, I'm sure the Flag Pole takes about 1/4th of that off.
