Went for a birthday present with my dad and sister. The park was clean and had a lot of things to do including 9 roller coasters. There was not a lot of crowds and it appeared it was going to be a great day. We decided to hit Demon first. I 'll talk about that next. What looked to be a great say turned out not so good. Invertigo had construction. Then Stealth and Vortex decided they would brake down at the same time. Vortex would work again but stealth, well, was a different story. Also at the end is a VERY interesting note on a new attraction!!!!
Demon (2 laps no wait)
First ride of day. Walked on then stayed on. This old coaster is not a bad ride at all. It starts out from the station going in a dark tunnel to the lift hill. Then, a turn down to the drop that looks like you will hit the trees! Then 2 loops into a tunnel, then a small turn into another tunnel, which looks like it will chop you head right off. Then as you clear the tunnel, for no reason the picture is taken. Then right after the flash you go into to pretty good corkscrews, finally a turn into the brakes. Good ride even if its short.
Top Gun (3 laps 30 minutes wait for front)
We learned that Vortex and Stealth were down so we went for Top Gun. Got to the queue, which was one of the only lines you would wait in all day. It is not a bad theamed que at all as you wait out side then go into a submarine to the station. First ride was in the middle of the Shark train. Went up the intimidating hill feet dangling, then down the big slanting, g puling, drop. Then into the loop and picture spot. Its most intense part of the ride. Then into some sharpe helixes, straightway and barrel roll over the queue, sharp turn then to the water part of the ride, were a small corkscrew and very sharp helix about 7 feet over the water, then brakes. This ride is MUCH better from the front! I thought Batman at SFMM was the same but, it is different. The train returned though in about 5 minutes. I am not going to rage around and ask for my money back though. I'll be back next year.
Inverting: Closed. Why did they add this>? For the sake of building a nother coaster or budget cuts? It is just a boomerang with a twist by facing your ride partners. That is the 3RD! Boomerang in CA!!!!
The new attraction is on the map as far as location. It is very the bunge jump is. There is no room for a roller coaster what so ever. They have drop zone a freefall ride so there won't be one. It looks like enough room for a TA2K. Even for interesting is that the bunge tower is in the exact same shape!!!!!!! Then here is the killer It is news that PGA won't get that ride and Carroweens will. Well the only other solution will be to remove the bunge tower, Demon, and White water falls. This seems logical, due to each ride not attracting a lot of people at all. They do need another ride that isn't short.
