Now that the season is winding down, I figured this was one of my last chances to hit PGA this year. I think everyone in Northern California had the same idea! This place was PACKED!! By noon all rides had the queues completely filled, lucky for us, we got inside before the rope was dropped. Stealth's line was at the 3.5 hour mark, YIKES!
Stealth: Like I said, got there before the rope dropped, so headed straight for the world's only flying coaster. Since the line was short, we waited for the front. I heard both good and bad reports about Stealth, let me just say AWESOME!!! So there are not much G's and it is not too fast or tall, SO WHAT?? The "flying" aspect of this coaster blows all stats out of the water. I LOVED this ride!! When it flips you over for the first time, you will never be the same. You see the ground some 100 feet below you, a few supports and that's it!! I thought for sure I was going to plummet to my death, but instead I soared through the course, yelling and screaming the whole time. I cannot wait for an even more extreme version of this to be built!! The restraints were quite comfortable for me too. 1 lap. Did I mention that this ride ROCKS!!
Invertigo: It was still early, so I got this slow loader out of the way. 20 minute wait, 1 lap. These are fun, but you always want a little more after it's over.
Grizzly: This was not open until after I got off of Invertigo, so the line was short. I have found a park that needs a good woodie MORE than Cedar Point. I guess King's Island Construction forgot everything they learned about building good coasters after they built The Beast. The Grizzly has zero air, zero lats, and minimal speed. At least is was not too rough. 1 boaring lap.
The Demon: Waited about 30 minutes, back seat. WOW! This one surprised me. Easily the smoothest Arrow looper I have ever been on! Loved the tunnels and theming. I am very pleased to see you had fun at my homepark! Too bad Greezed Lighting was closed its a great experence. PGA usually get real bad attendence later in the year on the weekends. People in CA are more loyal to this park than SFMW PGA has been the onyl thirll park around here expect the boardwalk. Drop Zone and Top Gun were considered to be the best coasters and rides when they first came out. Stelth has had that same kind of BOOM. Demon is a very fun ride and is always the first ride of the day for me. Top Gun is very intense! I am not a real Vortex fan. I only ride in because its a stand up and it has a half way desent layout. I was having a good time on that ride then it just ended right were I though it was the mid coarse breaks.
