This was the second of many visits to my home park this year. I was thankful that the choral festival was seemingly last weekend. Unfortunately, it was today, meaning the park was crammed. However, the first hour in the park was an enthusiasts dream.
We arrived at the park at approx. 8:45 AM after breakfast at McDonalds. My 2 friends and I, along with a family of 4, were the only ones at Top Gun for the seasons pass ERT. However, the family of 4 did not have seasons passes so they had to leave. My 3 friends and I were the only people on the first train out. We sat in the front seat. We rode Top Gun 10 times in a row without going through the line again (we switched seats a few times). We then got off just so we could get back in line for the front. After 11 rides I am somewhere near 150 total. This coaster gets better everytime I ride it. After Top Gun we went on Scooby Doo's Haunted Mansion during season pass ERT. This ride is very fun, but my gun was broken as it seems they all are lol. We then rode the bumper cars and Thunder Road. Thunder Road Backwards continues to be an awesome ride with a tiny bit of airtime during the smooth out and back trip. Fowards is fun but there is no airtime. We then rode the Frenzoid twice. This was the second day ever that I rode this due to a bad experience with the restraints. I managed to keep from having my groin injured too badly, and the ride was semi-fun. After that the park became crammed and we didn't ride too much. We rode the Hurler and Drop Zone, which are as amazing as always. We were in line for the Super Saturator when it broke down and closed (we have come to expect this over time). For our last ride of the day I had the sudden urge to ride Scooby Doo's Ghoster Coaster. This was the first time I had been on it in 3 years. Scooby Doo is an A.C.E Classic Coaster, and although it banged my knees up, it was a very fun little coaster! Before leaving I took some videos of Top Gun that I will post later. Overall, it was a great day, mainly thanks to the 11 rides on Top Gun.
