Paramount Parks Web sites down for update

Does anyone why the Paramount Parks Web Site for each park is down for update?

here is a link http://66.119.219.33/

If anyone know could you please tell use what is going on thank you.

Typically each year the Paramount Parks websites get overhauled for the upcoming season... I am sure it will be back up soon. Possibly with a new and improved look.

I could careless about the website look but it would be nice to update the Scooby ride pictures. Do you think they will update them or wait to the season to begain so we can be surprised by the finish product?

It's up now. It has the new logo and everything it looks great. Nothing updated except the front page really.

That was a crappy update, Why the heck does Carowinds ALWAYS get the shaft, crappy rides (excluding Top Gun), small drop ride (compared to others) everything sucks... And we continually get new family rides, we need a new freakin coaster
Actually, PKI has updated some of their Gold Pass Perks. However, it appears that Delirium and Scooby Doo will not be part of the early rides program for Gold Pass Holders. However, the Gold Pass Perks page doesn`t appear to be updated. On the PKI website it does list some new perks in 2003. One is Walk-on Wednesdays, when the first 1,000 gold pass holders to enter the park gates get a ticket to go to the front of the line once on some rides, including Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle. Also, a new Gold Pass perk is the Meal Deal, which will be special prices at certain restaurants. I can`t wait the 39 days until the park opens!

Jason, the update wasn't to reveal any new rides or anything. It was only to give a fresh look to all the Paramount Park sites for the upcoming season. Everything looks really nice and I especially like the new logos.

i know it wasnt announcing anything, and it does look nice (not as good as OTHER theme parks COUGh six flags videos and Cedar Points info) but it does look good, but if you look at the pages Carowinds did get the major shaft again
They did? That's news to me. Looks like I'd better cancel my plans to go opening day since now I won't get to have fun since Top Gun is so boring and old now and it doesn't have an Intamin rocket coaster.

Neat, I just now looked at the PKI site and it doesn't look to bad. I've noticed they changed the Paramount King's Island logo a bit. It looks nice but I am really wanting a Scooby Doo update. I hope they give us one. Maybe just a pic of the outside. It wouldn't give away to much. Will it?

I'm sick and tired of people whining about (insert homepark here) not getting (insert wonder-ride here). We don't realize how lucky we have it. Besides, next time you decide to whine, think about Knoebels. Last new coaster or major ride was in 1999. Thats right- 4 years ago. I'd take any of the rides PCW got. Its all good though, the rides already here are great. :)

ahhh rub it in, but seriously im not just whining, when is paramounts gonna wake up and decide to target older peeps, six flags is OWNING them not to mention Cedar Fair which owns EVERYONE.
Cedar Point may "own" everyone, but Cedar Fair as a whole, I don't think so. Unless you mean seniors "older" people. In that case, maybe. I'm not complaining though and I'm sure CF and PP feel better than SF about running an excellent business. From what I've heard, Paramount has been very successful and happy with what they've been doing to their parks the past few seasons. So have I and countless others I'm sure (note the SFWOA vs. PKI thread).

There's a chance they may "wake up" in your opinion for the 2004 season. PC does have possibly the best steel coaster in the PP chain (and one of the best steelies anywhere I've been told).

I dunno Koaster King. I think PKI is milking it when it comes to getting a new coaster. I think if Dilirium goes well, which it should, PKI could consider getting another big flat for 2004. As much as I would like a coaster I think PKI should theme more of their parks and possibly think about getting another flat and themeing it. Can't ya tell I just love themeing?

Kaiser, should we refer to you as "EminEm" at black tie affairs?

Exactly. Top Gun is my favorite coaster period between the Paramount parks I've been to (Carowinds, Kings Dominion, Kings Island). Carowinds will "wake up" when they stop attracting crowds with family attractions. I'm personally glad to see more families and less thugs. And another thing, I don't think they are getting '0wned' by Cedar Fair since there isn't a Cedar Fair park anywhere even remotely close to Carowinds.

I know Top Gun rules, and i like that they are increasing their family image, but come on, they took our launcher (white lightnin) and they havent given us a new one. A launcher or a hyper/giga or a HUSS land of the giants should be next in line for us at Carowinds, but for some reason i dont think it will happen.

Jason - Parmount parks are targeting that portion of the population that spends the most money - families. Those families are going to pay for your next major coaster so stop whinning [and sorry but it does sound like whinning to us] and enjoy what you have.

My View on Carowinds is "Don't fix it if it is not Broke" and, Carowinds is not Broke in the Rides Department. (but, they do have some non-ride issues)

Those new logos are quite a change, but it really does not matter when your inside the Park.
