Paramount Free Park Admission Question

I have 2 Free admissions to any Paramount Park to be used in the 2006 season. I got these at an ACE event earlier this year prior to the Cedar Fair buyout of the Paramount Parks. I know from contacting the local ACE rep a while ago that I won't be able to use the passes at the Regional ACE event at Kings Dominion Fall Thrill Fest on October 22nd.

My question is this. Will I be able to use them this weekend since they are now owned by Cedar Fair? Someone I don't really know and who doesn't work at any park told me they heard I wouldn't be able too. I considered contacting the park but thought that I may just get the run-around. I considered just showing up with the passes and if they said I couldn't use them I could create a stink (which I'd rather not have to do). But, if I end up having to pay anyway I'd like to get the discounted 3 Day Advanced Online Tickets.

Everything I kept hearing all year was that ticket sales and season passes would not be affected until next year. In that respect I think the Passes should be honored. If they tell me they are now Cedar Fair and can't honor the passes, then I think they should allow me to get free admission with my Cedar Point Season Pass.

Any advice or insight on this matter would be appretiated.

I was the winner last year of the 10 free Winterfest tickets to PKI. Well when I found out I won the contest I had already paid for Winterfest tickets. So when I went to redeem I had a choice of picking 10 tickets to PKI anytime during 2006. Well I have a season pass, so I really had no use for them. I have brought alot of people with me to the park with these tickets, even after the Cedar Fair sale, and we have had no problems using these tickets.

I don't see where you would have a problem either. As long as they are not only good on certain days. But still contact PKD and find out.

I just used mine at PKI two weeks ago for the start of Fearfest. Had a great visit and no problems whatsoever getting in. Plus, how can one go wrong with 5 straight rides on the Beast without leaving the train?

I've done that. It's wrong on so many levels.

Well, I e-mailed the park Tuesday morning and I still havn't heard back from them. It's too late to but the discounted advanced tickets, so I guess I'll just try using them and see what happens.

In case anyone was wondering, I never heard from the park. So I decided to just go and take my chances. I got in with no problem. :)

Great I knew you shouldn't have had a problem. I used my 9th Free PKI ticket today for a friend, and he had no problems as usual.
