PA/NJ tour in July 2006, Suggestions?

Tsunami is a good ride but don't waste too much time on Clementon. The park is a hole and aside from the coaster, there is nothing there worthy of going out of your way for.
Rollergator, why would Clementon be not opening next year? Im planning on an SFGadv, Ocean City, NJ and Clementon trip next year. That'll be depressing if Clementon closes.

You won't see me coming...

Clementon Lake Park is for sale but I think it operated last season while it was also for sale. Don't quote me on it being for sale last season.

Watch the tram car please....

Yeah, I think that the recurring "For Sale" sign outside of Clementon is a red herring of sorts. IIRC, the last *sticker price* was at $15M...but this is NOT the same situation as SFAW, and the property values around the park, (based on the neighborhood convenience stores and coin-op laundromats, LOL) mean that the LAND under Clementon isn't really all that valuable....if it was on the OTHER side of Jersey, near the ocean, THEN that same $15M would be a week's rental... ;)
...or, if it were located in northern NJ, that $15 million might pay a month's worth of property taxes on an acre of land!
Another tip for Dorney:

Start at the bottom of the park (around Steel Force) and work your way up. I've noticed that a large majority of the people who don't go into WWK start at the top (around Talon) and work their way down. You'll usually see a sizable line for Talon by 10:15-10:30ish, which will grow until around 11ish because everyone heads there first. Then, by 12 the crowds will have dispersed. (Except for busy days when the lines will always be long, but at least you'll enjoy short lines at the bottom of the park before the huge masses get there)

That's good advice for Hershey too-- starting toward the back of the park (Midway America) and working to the front. Comet gets long lines early as well, since it's the first coaster people will actually see once they get into the park.
