Owners can't find operator for Wild West World

Wild West World's owners have no operator for the park three months before they planned to reopen it. And with credit tightening and a struggling economy, it's unlikely the park will return at all, an industry analyst said Thursday. After six months of negotiations, park owner AHG Group failed to reach an operations agreement with Tulsa carnival operator Jerry Murphy, said Doug Spangler, AHG's Kansas representative.

Murphy? Wow, that really is scraping the bottom of the proverbial barrel. Was Satan unavailable? After the BS Murphy and Co. pulled in Tulsa, I wouldn't want him near anything I owned...

Gotta be better than Pugh

Not really, I'd say they about even. Pugh bought the old Gooding routes, lived off them untill he burned all those bridges. Which was a shame as Floyd Gooding was IMHO one of the classiest persons in the carnival world .The Murphy's had all kinds of political pockets they lined in the midwest, which ultimately lead to the demise of the Royal American Shows.
