I heard something about this happening, and I was wondering if anyone had any links to this information....or articles...etc.. Also I was wondering who the Owner of Sea World Australia is?
Seaworld in Australia is entirly owned by Village Roadshow, who also own the Wet 'n' Wild water park, Movieworld, Australian Outback Spectacular (Dixie Stampede style dinner show) and Paradise Country (Australian Farm Tour) on the Gold Coast. They also own a couple of aquariums and other attractions in Sydney, an Aquarium in Auckland, and of most interest to people on this site, Hawaiian Waters Adventure in Hawaii, and Waterworld in Phoenix.
My understanding is that they want to bring the US water parks to a similar level to the Wet 'n' Wild water park on the Gold Coast, which a year back hosted more then a million people in a year for the first time in its history. In Hawaii they've introduced a tornado, Dive in Movies, and new kids area, with more on the way, and Phoenix is meant to go through a similar expansion, apparently with a budget of $25million
