According to some Harry Potter lovers, pudgy muggles -- those who weigh about 265 pounds or more -- are getting tossed from line at the most-hyped ride in Universal Studios' Wizarding World of Harry Potter amusement park. For them, the ride "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey" is truly living up to its name -- and that's a big disappointment for fans who resemble Harry's rotund cousin Dudley.

Like some guy over there said... (roll eyes)
I, for one, am not so overweight that I even consider myself in that category (fat guy), but I do feel empathy.
What about muscular people like me? Not all of this is fat, you know. Should I change the way I exercise? Should I lift less weight?
What about people who are really, really tall? Should they go get surgically shortened (Like in the hit film, Gattaca, starring Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman)?
What about little people?
Obesity is not something to look down on. People are overweight for many reasons, not excluding mental issues. I know someone who was abused when she was a girl. She is very overweight, and I suspect that food is her way of dealing with the pain and shame that she still feels. That's just one example of why someone would be overweight.

My husband and I went to the park today and were very excited to see The Wizarding World and ride The Forbidden Journey. Now I'm not tiny, but I'm not huge and my husband is quite tall (6'4'') but is not overweight. We tried the test seats before we waited in a two hour line. Both of us did not fit. We put the restraints down to the max level, just so we could see how much weight we'd need to lose :). Honestly, the seats were TINY!!! I don't think I know five people who would fit. There was only 3.5 inches of space for your thighs to fit (NOT an exaggeration.) They were just so small. Both of us fit in to the normal roller coaster restraints at both the parks. I feel like this is unacceptable. I really hope Universal gets their heads out of their butts and remakes the restraints for a normal sized person.
