Over Texas floods again

I just saw a news report on the local station that showed Six Flags Over Texas under water (again). From the brief news report, it looks like Shockwave got the worst of it.
I thought that area of Texas was dealing with brush fires again. Did they just get a heavy dose of rain recently?

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

According to a local station out of Dallas, they've received six inches of rain since Friday, with five inches falling on Sunday.
Dallas is quite far from the panhandle.
I always wondered why SF doesn't give Aquaman more of a spotlight.

I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!

If we're not dry as a bone in a drought, we're flooding. Welcome to Texas.

Actually, despite the storms we just had, I'm pretty sure we're still under pretty severe drought conditions. The oaks in my yard are losing their leaves... in March.

Time to convert Shockwave to a liquid coaster.

Time to go ride Shockwave until I puke....that is THE looping coaster, and I am *eternally grateful* that SFoT saved it last time....

Our trip saw some pretty serious flooding at the park, they opened Titan and Giant late due to water after some HEAVY showers the night before.
