Wow, construction of an Arrow Mine Train looks relatively simple compared to some rides. I love the "big timbre" look of those things!

wow, i must say this looks like a top notch installation.  Especially with the wooded terrain.  It'll be interesting to see what this up and coming park adds next.  *** This post was edited by ravenguy98 on 1/31/2002. ***

Nice to see this Arrow coaster be ressurected, and esepcially nice to see the park using wood supports!

Considering they already have a coaster that that's been relocated, and they're adding another now, I'd say this place is becoming a monument to preservation.  A must-visit park in the not-so-distant future...especially considering my feelings for the Arrow mine-trains...

My home park is Magic Springs and I am for one very excited. Just recently Magic Springs changed their motto to "Home of the Classic Coaster" So I execpt a lot more older coasters to come into the park.

It would never happen, but Drachan Fire would look good there.
Magic Springs is a must visit park this year, meant to go last year but never got around to it.
Drachen Fire isn't exactly a "classic" coaster.
And it won't happen.

Why is it this coaster simply wont die.

OTher places its been.

Origanally installed at SFSTL in 1971ish

then takeing otu in 88 and sold to Dolly Wood

Ran there till 99 (i think).

I think it's great River King Mine Train/Thunder Express gets a third lease on life.

Excalibur, Python, Viper, Screamin' Demon, etc. are all rusting away in storage, at least one coaster was saved from scrap.

It was at Dollywood until 98. The Tenn. Tornado has the same station as thunder xprss. 2 different arrow coasters, one station.
There are some more pictures over at The MS Guide in the club. I submited the site a few weeks ago, but it never showed up. Jeff....?
