The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating claims by two Disney cast members that they were told by managers they could not go to the bathroom, and that they shouldn't drink liquids during their shift.

If this story holds water, then it's really pathetic on Disney's behalf. Anytime you work in a situation where heat may be involved, you just gotta keep the liquids flowing. I've never been in a work place where I couldn't freely use the restroom at any given time.
I don't think it is as much a question of whether or not the story holds water as it whether or not the employees can hold water. :)- Jeff

Never work for a Rat! I consider Mickey a big rat anyway!

WTF! Is going on in Disney parks? Big Thunder Railroad crashes twice, Tigger putting his hands where they shouldn't be, no water or restroom breaks. All this is just from this year! Kinda makes you wonder how Disney is still one of the biggest vacation destionations for families.*** This post was edited by coasterpunk 4/29/2004 6:20:35 PM ***

Hmmm...I don't know. I think this kinda crap has been going on all along. However, with Eisner in the news, the media has been jumping on Disney stories because they grab people's attention...and thus sell more crap.

This kind of baloney goes on everywhere. The media picks its stories to sell crap.

Jaded? Mmmmperhaps. ;)*** This post was edited by janfrederick 4/29/2004 10:01:03 PM ***

I don't personally buy it. Disgruntled employees will think of anything to get attention, and in this case, I bet the "investigation" is a letter from OSHA saying they got a complaint.
