One speed Doesn't Fit All!
--Dave Althoff, Jr.
Gimme a break. Carowinds is building a Mouse this year and building an identical one right up the road at PKD. Get over it man. Cloning happens. Not too many people in the world will ever ride Raptor AND Orochi. The only ones that probably will are coaster enthusiasts, and WE'RE the ones that are supposed to appreciate things like this.
-----------------
I rode "X" and never went upside down.
If the Raptor is cloned, how come the Raptor is like the #3 or so top ranked coaster in the WORLD and this coaster doesn't even show up in the top 30?
Does it have to do with the 3 biggest factors? Location, location, location? Or is there something that I am missing?

Drive to theme parks for the food, stay for the coasters!! Knott's Fried Chicken

OMG, that is pathetic (I'm not talking about the ride). Get a life! It's been cloned. Oh now Raptor is going to be a horrible ride...
Urgh...urgh...urgh..urgh..What are you sayin'? You want ME to get a life? Look who's talkn'!
Raptor Orochi
Height: 137 feet 131 feet, 3 inches
Length: 3790 feet 3937 feet
Top Speed: 57mph 55.9mph
Does that HONESTLY sound like cloned coasters? I didn't think so.
For a cloned coaster to be cloned, the stats have to be virtually identical!
Dawgbyte, I would bet is based on location, because being an enthusiast, you would think I was aware of it, but until '98, I didn't even know it existed. My wife took me over to Osaka, and there was a park with 4 coasters. Orochi is the only good coaster in the park with 3 of the 4 coasters being clones.
Nobody except whiners care if there is a clone literally 15000 miles away. It is a great ride, and if I can get my coaster rush, and my needs quenched when I am in Japan, great! I'll take a ride like this anyday. We should be glad it exists. That proves that the Japanese have good taste!
The paintjob does stink though. All the coasters at Expoland are white. All of them... Makes for a boring looking park.
