Is it just me or is this very simular to Raptor.

It's identical.

I develop Superior Solitaire when not riding coasters.

One time I swear I had ridden a similar coaster to this one called boomerang! (Or was it 23 similar ones?)

Actually Richard, it's longer than Raptor. The section after the flatspin, prior to the cobra roll is longer on Orochi. I don't know why, but it is.

Perhaps they had to re-route it just a bit to avoid some underground utilities or something like that.

I really don't believe a few extra feet of straight track section voids Orochi of being identical to Raptor. Both rides are virtually the exact same thing.

It looked to me like the turn into the final brakerun was improved.

I dunno, personally I liked Raptor better. That might have had to do with the rest of the park around the ride, rather than the ride itself.

The whip into the final brakerun doesn't look so harsh on this ride.

Green track and CP's main midway make Raptor what it is though.
