Orlando ticket price Help

I'm going to be in Orlando for a week (sun - sat.) and I want to visit BGT, IOA, SWO, and maybe USF and WDW.  The 5 park flex pass seems like a reasonable deal, but since I'll only get to use 6 of the 14 days, it seems like a waste.  Anyone know of a smaller, but similar deal?  Thanks.

The legend lives!

Remember that admission to each of those parks is right around $50… So going to parks six days will run you around $300. Even if you don’t use all 14 days, the Flex-Pass is still a better deal.

Also note that the Flex-Pass won’t get you into Disney Parks, so depending on what you are planning you may get a better deal by buying individual park admissions. Disney and Universal both offer multi-day tickets at a discount from single day admission prices. These tickets never expire, so you can use them the next time you go to Orlando.

Pretty much any trip to Orlando will cost you a pile of cash, but you can save a little here and there, depending on what your plans are.

Have Fun

Nah, don't look at it that way. As Kip said, it still saves you a ton of cash. I bought one on my 5-day trip, and don't regret it at all.

Universal is running a "buy a two day/ two park ticket and get the third day free" right now, I think until the end of Feb. for $89. Although, three days may be a bit too long for the off season, unless you really like to reride stuff.

I believe you can still get a SWO/BGT two day for around $85 (it was $79 with my AAA last year).

And you could drop another $48 and do MGM at Disney on the sixth day. Tower of Terror may be the best ride in Florida. And Fantasmic! is phenominal - even with Mickey and the gang.

That'll get you on all the best stuff down there for around $225.  Heck, if you get bored the third day at Universal, you can always head down to Old Town to kill some time. They'll let you ride Windstorm for free if you have an ACE card. And the do have a 300' Skycoaster and a really big Super Slingshot.

Without the chaindog, you'd never get up the lifthill...

You can also ride Windstorm for free if you are a member of the Florida Coaster Club.

The "really big Super Slingshot" is expensive ($25!) but well worth it. GREAT ride.

...the best bet is STILL to move to FL so you can get the $99 annual passes to IOA/USF, and the "deals" on the Busch 2-year passes (good at BGT/SWF).  Disney is even offering a 4park/4day residents' special...but you see, it's not always about the cost of the parks...some of us live here 'cause we HATE the cold weather, lol...
