First, IoA/USF right now has a deal where you buy a one-park ticket and get both parks. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but that's pretty sweet...LONG day though considering that FL parks are *packed* right now...
Second, Expedition Everest coverage is heating up, and the 50th anniversary celebration seems to be going VERY well.
Finally, it appears that Sea World is intent on building a *waterpark* near the SWF/Discovery Cove complex. Almost a done deal politically, but some of the neighbors are pretty upset. If you've been in the area, you know those raods are not built to handle that traffic....something the FL Sea World park shares with its TX neighbor is *truly horrible* location in regards to raods/neighbors, and assuming they DO build this waterpark, I expect the wait to pay/park will be as long as for any of the slides...LOL!...
I believe that deal with IOA and USF is a summer-long thing which started around the 4th of July. It's one of the best deals I have ever come across, at least in Orlando it is.
CP was amazing, going back next June to ride Maverick
From what I know, and the news reports, I *anticipate* very early '06 opening, maybe before the seasonal parks even open...of course, as always, don't plan trips around coasters that aren't open yet....or Intamin rockets that are! ;)
Just wondering, we are going to FL in sept and if we did universal we would only have one day to do both of the parks.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Riding as a single most of the waits weren't too bad, but it truly was a loooooong day. Especially since I had to drive back to Jacksonville at the end of the day. Either one of these parks can be a full day easitly.
