Are there any parks that Paramount built from scratch?

I believe they took control of all the parks after they were open. Kings Island, Kings Dominion and Canada's Wonderland were built by the original company, Taft. Carowinds was acquired before Canada's Wonderland was built, and was the work of a local developer. Very heavily themed to the Carolinas at the time , but Paramount has pretty much destroyed his theming magic there....Great America was built by Marriots, again, very heavily themed to the USA at the time and Paramount has ripped just about all the theming from this park. Other than coaster additions, i would venture to say management of Paramount has not been an asset to these parks.
super7 is correct about Paramount taking control of the parks rather than building any of the parks. Can't say much about his/her other observations.
I agree with super7. Paramount has "fixed" theming that wasn't broken...at least with Great America. I used to enjoy the theming a lot.
(guess someone didn't like my short answer ;) )

Forget about it. It can't be THAT bad!
Also, Many great rides disappeared at PKI over the last few years....including Kenton keelboat Canal, skylab, Ladybug, the smurf ride, flight commander, ferris wheel ( what is an amusement park without a ferris wheel), the wooden shoes, and on and on I could go!
