A group that opposes a Legoland theme park proposed for Orange County, New York held a forum Monday night. Roughly 100 residents attended to either lend their support in opposition or learn more.

I hope it gets approved. It is around a 90 minute drive for me and the last time I was in Florida, I didn't have time to visit the park. If the park does get built it will be interesting to see if they are open year round or most of the year. Great Adventure has shown people will still visit a park in cold weather and go on coasters in barely above freezing weather (probably less of an issue with Legoland with tamer coasters compared to rides like Nitro and Superman).
